Moto Mods SDK (com.motorola.mod)

Android applications can discover, communicate and interact with Moto Mods using APIs provided by the Moto Mod Android SDK. Use the Moto Mod Android SDK when you want to create a Moto Mod aware application that can observe Moto Mod hotplug events or perform base level I/O with a Moto Mod that is tightly coupled with a specific Moto Mod design. To use these API, an Android application needs to include the Moto Mod Android library.

Interface Summary

Interface	Description
IModManager	The binder interface to communicate with the ModManager.
ModDevice.InterfaceInfo	The static information of a interface within a Moto Mod, it's statically declared in the manifest and does not mean there will be an instance of ModDevice.Interface to be created at runtime.
ModListener	The callback interface which can be used by client app to get notified whenever there is a Moto Mod event, app can register this via the ModManager.registerModListener The Moto Mod SDK enables an application to register a ModListner callback function which will be notified of changes over the Moto Mod.

IModManager.Stub	A local-side IPC implementation stub class.
ModBacklight	This class provides the API enabling an application to control a Backlight class device on a Moto Mod.
ModBattery	This class provides constants and API to query properties of a battery on a Moto Mod.
ModConnection	A class represents the connection between a device on the Moto Mod and the phone.
ModConnection.State	This class represents the state of the Modconnection.
ModContract	This class provides a content provider for the Moto Mod Manager service.
ModDevice	This class represents the Moto Mod device attached to a smartphone. This class provides the API to set and query type and properties of an attached ModDevice.
ModDevice.Interface	An interface descriptor describes an access point for a module to the UniPro network.
ModDevice.Subclass	A class which provides constants defining the greybus device class supported by a ModDevice.
ModDisplay	This class provides API to control a Display class device on a Moto Mod.
ModInterfaceDelegation	This class represents the Linux device node corresponding to the greybus interface. This should be used when working with raw devices.
ModManager	This class provides the interface to communicate with the Moto Mod Manager Service.
ModProtocol	This class represents a single protocol, which can be used for the connection between device on the Moto Mod and the phone.
ModProtocol.Protocol	This class provides constants representing the actual greybus protocol id, which a ModProtocol instance is associated with.
